Overview
The UAE AI Camp is a nationwide initiative led by the UAE's AI Office, with Think Media Labs as one of its main partners. This initiative is part of the UAE's National AI Strategy 2031, which seeks to establish the UAE as a leader in AI innovation and application across all sectors. As a key partner in the initiative, Think Media Labs hosted a series of workshops designed to teach participants, ranging from Grade 6 students to senior government employees, how to effectively utilize AI in their respective fields.
After the workshops, participants demonstrated a newfound understanding of AI, becoming more confident in applying AI technologies to their daily tasks and larger strategic initiatives.
Structure of the Workshops
Think Media Labs led various workshops throughout the UAE AI Camp, focusing on tailored approaches for different audience segments, including students and government employees.
Government Employees: Senior government officials and employees participated in workshops that explored AI use cases specific to the public sector. The focus was on using AI to increase day-to-day productivity, such as optimizing document management, enhancing workflow efficiency, and improving citizen services.
Grade 6 Students: The workshop for younger students focused on how to responsibly use AI without cheating and how AI could be used to create yearbook photos.
