Snapchat has introduced the Travel Mode option, which once activated, stops the app from eating up the user’s mobile data and prevents stories from automatically downloading when on data network. When on Travel Mode, the user will gain the power to choose what snaps to load by simply tapping on it.
Moreover, Snapchat has allowed its users to use emojis more freely and abundantly with snaps, and removed the restriction on putting emojis on top of pictures. Before, emojis on Snapchat were treated like text, but now, a little page has appeared on top of the screen containing a huge range of those little pictures, which can be resized and moved around to be placed anywhere over the Snap.
The new update also allows users to see more easily who viewed their Snapchat stories; and while this feature was only accessible by clicking on the story, viewing it and then clicking on a special icon by swiping up, now it can be achieved with a much less complex method by simply clicking on an eye installed next the user’s stories.
