The photo-sharing social network “INSTAGRAM” has launched a new look for its ever growing web interface, and it has revamped the lines, textures and flashy colors of the old design with a more sleek and minimalistic flat style. (Check it out now on www.instagram.com/aymanitani)
The new version of “INSTAGRAM” is different after adopting a vividly white, clean and clear layout, with an intense focus on images. Users browsing through the pages will notice the excessive use of white space between photos, in what it seems a successful attempt to put the pictures into more perspective, and maybe create more space to make its ads available to all types of businesses.
The new design now displays 3 large images in each row as opposed to 5 smaller for a fine-tuned and better user experience. The revolving header section displaying a selection of photos has been replaced with a simple Bio header followed by a cleaner arrangement of photos, and the new layout will also be featured on hashtag pages.
Most importantly, and with the new design, “INSTAGRAM” users can now share, comment, like and edit their own profiles more easily and directly from the web.
