One more day separates us form day that thousands of people around the world are thrilled for. Sunday, June 30, 2013 is the expected day. 335 communities are celebrating the Social Media Day around the world. This event was launched back in 2010 where it contains now up to about 1837 community from everywhere.
Mashable created this event as a way to recognize the digital revolution happening around the world. Each year, online and social media connections grow increasingly as networks evolve and new forms of sharing emerge. The past few years had introduced new platforms such asÂ Instagram,Â Vine, andÂ Google+Â which have changed the way we deal with our stories.
The goals of this event are to bring those with a passion for digital and social media together,Â stimulate conversations about technology, social and digital happenings, be a source of innovation to develop our digital world and of course to celebrate the Mashable brand.
