BIFEX 2012, Beirut International Franchise Forum and Exhibition, was organized by the Lebanese Franchise Association and Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group. It took place in Phoenicia Hotel, Beirut on 23, 24 May 2012. The conference attracted more than 400 participants from 13 countries from the Middle East and other countries.
Think Media Labs was invited to speak about the importance of Digital and Social Media for growing businesses. Ayman Itani, Think Media Labs CEO, participated in the session â€œNew Trends Brining The Customer Closer: E & M Commerce; Social Media.â€ The panel included Mr. Nicholas Heller, Mr. Omar Manialawy, Dr. Gerald Lang, and Mr. Tarek Kassar as a moderator.
Itani shed light on case studies, from our client list, to elaborate the positive difference Social Networks can bring to brands. He defined the role of the Social Customers and how they are important for any brandâ€™s reputation. Itani also elaborated the main pillars of a successful Social Media Strategy: Stages, framework, and foundations.
At the end of the forum, the Lebanese Franchise Association announced that next year, the World Franchise Council Meeting will be held in Beirut on 15, 19 April 2012.
